I first prefer to try here, as it is more likely to find UK numbers among fellow MSExperts. I also think that the fact VoipCheap introduced the pay-for UK calls is a good incentive for some UK person to pass to freecall.com or other Voip services, so creating some possibilities for people not using their Vopcheap account anymore.

The switch to another calling tariff was the reason why I abandoned voipbuster and switched to voipcheap some time ago and I think many will be thinking to switch now, so I hope I can help one of them.

Yes, I switched from VoIPBuster to VoIPCheap (UK) but have numbers from both I still use (0845 on the VoIP Buster) I trialled SipDiscount and currently use VoIP Stunt, again the number on Sip Discount is still used. Other than VoIPBuster these are all 0121 660 numbers.

Ok, I assume you only use one of them at a time (unless you have an ATA and have one for ingoing and one for outgoing calls)!
I hope that some other people like you registered multiple accounts (or does not use anymore his old VoipCheap one) and wishes to sell his/hers.

Is there any of you guys with a VoipCheap.co.uk UK geographical VOIP-IN number (such as 02-xxx)? If so, do you have an extra/expired credit/unused credit account and willing to sell your whole account to me (you can of course change all your data and put fakes contact details before passing it over)? I can pay any (eventual) residual credit you might have plus I will add a couple of pounds for your kindness.

I know that some people will not use this anymore now that UK numbers are not free, so might be a good chance for you to switch provider without loosing out (some others of the Finarea family still offer free UK calls).
What I am after is a UK real Voip-In number with the same provider I use for Voip-Out calls, so to be able to use the same PC/equipment.
Unfortunately the account I already have with VoipCheap.co.uk does not have a uk geographical number, so that is not good for many callers!

Please contact me if interested or if you know how to get a geographical UK number with VoipCheap.

i think (not dead sure) but if you sign up with voipcheap.com you do get a 02 or any geographical number... dont you ?...pls read my post before this one..i used voipcheap.com for FREE uk landline calls...but i believe they stopped now...and i do have an 02 number i think...how do i confirm though ? and if i cant make free uk landline calls then i can help...let me know mate...cheers

If you did NOT add credit, then you are only on the limited free trial of the service and you could call any country landline for free.

If you want free calling to the listed countries to continue, then you must top up €10 (TEN EURO), with VoIPCheap.com you will get 90 days of free calling, you don't lose your €10 to the free calls, you can use that up on chargeable calls either outside your free numbers, when you have used up 300 mins in the week (the following week you get another 300 mins) or when you have ran out of your 90 free days.

VoIPCheap.com does have better rates to call UK mobiles than other offering in the company, buy I've been using VoIPStunt.com for some time as they have UK landlines as a free destination and the free days last 120 days for you €10 (TEN EURO) top-up.

Note: you don't have to keep topping up after you free days ends, you can use that money up and continue to use the service, it's just you will be charged for the calls instead of them being free usually 1c/min.

When these companies first started out there was no limited on free calling, you just paid your €1 and later €5 and you could make unlimited calls for just the one top-op (you also had a few mins free without topping up to test the service) this was how I managed to have over 15 months for free unlimited calls for €6 (SIX Euro). So I've done OK out of it, even now I don't mind topping up, with VoIPStunt if you were to top up every 120 days it would work out at about £1.80 per month for 1,200 mins free, I have ran out of free days and decided not to top up at the moment, and use the credit I have in my account, when that gets low then I will top up and get some more free days.

You used to get issued an 01 or 02 number once you had topped up your account (I have such numbers) but they haven't issued number for some months.

VoIPCheap still offer UK calls as free, they haven't stopped, what has stopped is your free trial of the service, if you want free calls then you need to top up. It's not like Vonage where you get inclusive calls (that is you pay £8 per month and you can then calls numbers, but that £8 can not be used for chargeable calls), With Vonage you have to pay £8 and it's lost and then if you call chargeable numbers you pay on top.

With VoIPCheap, you top up your account, that money stays in your account like it would if you have a PAYG mobile, so you can use it on chargeable calls, but during your free days period, there is no expiry on the credit, so once your free days are up you can either top-up for more free days or use the credit on the same calls but charged at usually 1c/min

Sister company VoIPStunt.com is 120 free days.

i think i understand what you exactly mean now...so by your post in other words you mean i go for voipstunt.com...right ? i only make calls to Uk landlines and to mobiles mayB once or twice a month. i dont mind topping up and if i topped up i know that money wudnt waste and i will use it for calling mobiles fones if i want that money back...hope me making sense ?

but can you pls confirm to me that if i top uo EURO 10 with voipstunt.com then i get 120 days of free mins to Uk landlines and checp call rates to mobile fones ? right ?....cheers mate...that was a lot of help...bless

i think i am lost again...lets say i top up EU 10 with voipcheap.com or voipstunt.com...right ?...now, voipcheap.com i get 90 days, 300 mins per week (presumably sun to sat). ..sure, if i use more than 300 mins in a week i pay for the extra mins from the credit i have.right ? After that 90 days, i do not use my credit, i still have Euro 10, i get another 90 days..right ? what happens if i never make a paid call...how long will my credit remain ?
