    good morning all

    member number 8 checking in

well after a really good month - went and blew it all yesterday. went into the city ( which I only do every couple of months) and ended up spending £76 on rubbish, a CD, some scented candles, easter egg from hotel chocolate for OH (£19  ) and underwear from BHS.

not as bad as it could of been but even still - when I got home I looked at all my bags and thought what a waste. BUT - this is my only compulsive spending this month so trying to stay positive :p

    have a lovely easter everyone

Well done for a good month! How much would you have spent normally on a blow-out in the city? (So glad I live in sh*tty Wolverhampton really, no Hotel Chocolate, no Selfridges, no John Lewis = less temptation!)

  • Don't apologise CS - I should have bugetted for it earlier on in the month rather then spend £28 on three absolutely gorgeous and fab pairs of jeans (that fit rather well!!).

I was going to buy that roll on thingy cause I have awful dark circles. Doesn't work then?! What a surprise! LOL

I have absolutely no idea what you are all talking about!! Coffee roll-on? I haven't seen this miracle cure! I suppose that's a good thing really?

Plenty of water and eight hours a night should do for the dark circles (although I really can't say I practice what I preach, I look like I had a fall-out with Mike Tyson)!

Funny how we are all in debt and all have dark circles - do you think there's a link?:rotfl:

I'll tell you what does work quite well tho - Spa Sciences eye gel patches. You used to be able to get them in Boots but they don't seem to have them in my store anymore. They were about £10 for four applications. But i then discovered you could get them online from the US at half the price :j so i bought 4 boxes!! (and they were on special offer with 6 applications per pack - happy days!

Hmm might have to have a look for them!! only prob is I don't have switch / credit card (the bank took them all away) so I have to ask my mum to pay for stuff online and give her money back... hasn't half stopped me buying cd's and dvd's online tho!!! The telling off I get for spending money on ''random stuff'' works quite well lol!!!

Maybe there is a link between dark circles and debt... probably the other way round tho lol!! My friend has given me some info on home made face masks etc... going to give it a go over the weekend!!

I am such a mine of usefull(less?!) information, but cold sliced potatoes are supposed to work well as are egg whites (oh and the back of a cold spoon pressed under your eye!) As you can tell, I have researched this! Didn't find that any of the above worked miracles tho. What really bugs me is that I seem to have a dark circle under one eye only??!!
  • . . . . . please, save me from myself and Boots!!!

GHD hair products now on Boots.com

600 extra points when you spend £60 this weekend

750 extra points when you buy two clinique products

    20% off children's stuff

WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO DO TO ME?!?!?!? Apart from shoes, they have targetted everyone of my weaknesses! And emailed me twice about it - is this some conspiracy?
