    just an update

spoke to a supervisor today and he ordered them again for the same price paid last time

they've changed the item codes, so i just gave him the new ones (T183139 and T183148) and all is sorted
  • Naughty naughty M&S! I suspect that this probably wasn't an accidental error.

Already returned the rubbish they sent but just sent them an e-mail in light of this discovery.

Mine finally turned up today and they look horrible. Wonder if a few washes will get rid of the shine....

Probably way too early, but has anyone had their replacement "crease resistant" ones yet?

I'm wondering whether to bother asking for the replacements or not... end of the day they will still be same material (pollyester) so will still be crap, no?

Question, the delivery note doesn't mention anywhere what I paid for the trousers, and the trousers say £9.50 on them. If I take them back into store to return, how do they know how much to refund me?!??

Morpheus- just phone up and say you've been sent the wrong ones. I did this, and they refunded my card and let me keep the trousers.

I think the 'crease resistant' ones will look better- not all polyester is alike, and probably won't have that shine you mention.

The cheap ones aren't that bad (especially as they were free!!) OH has been wearing them to work today and they're a really good fit on him.

I'm betting that when the replacement ones arrive they'll just send the same ones though...
  • Hi
Can anyone tell me the name of the person they have been dealing with at M&S as I had a lady who knew about the trousers but would do nothing except order the crease resitant ones for £19.50 per pair!
    Any help very much appreciated

  • Hi
I have just rang up and all I got told to do was send them back and get a refund.
I will try ringing up again tomorrow.

  • I also got the cheapie trousers and rang up. They are sending out the right ones free of charge, although had to get different colour as others out of stock. Asked what to do with others and was told to return them to store.

If you don't have the delivery note you will be offered a credit note for £9.50 per pair. ;)

Just called M&S now. The original trousers are still out of stock, even with the new numbers as above. CS advised me to wait a week , then ring back and they will reorder and honour the glitch price. (If anythings out of stock they cannot put through an order) I have to return the substitute order to them.
