    I just called them ...

    I'm now on 200 minutes and 500 texts for £15 p/m (was £30).

I roped them into giving me the XDA mini for £30 and all on a 12 month contract. I was tempted by T-mobile, but they kept me.

Would I be able to get this deal as a new O2 customer. I'm currently on vodafone and want to migrate.

    Hi

I requested my pac nr from 02 last Thursday and was told it would be txted to me within 2 days, they never sent it so I rang back today and after numerous calls to 02 this is what I have been offered and will probably accept, I am an 02 contract customer for 3 years with ave spend of £35 a month on the leisure time plus tariff of 550 off peak mins atm.

Nokia N91 phone for £149.99 & 02 500 anytime cross network minutes with 100 txts for £25 a month, (normally £35 a month for this tariff I was told) loyalty bonus of 100 extra txts for free (200 in total) includes international travel saver in tariff, but will not allow me to add the ireland bolt on (which costs £1.99 and means you can receive calls in replublic for free) to this tariff package as int travel saver is part of this deal, I live beside the border with Republic in Northern Ireland and network often changes over to 02 IRL and it would be better to be on the Ireland bolt on imo.

N91 should be in stock today 31st May but takes 2 days to register on the system so have to ring back on Friday to action this and accept the deal, notes are on file.

I know this is a new expenseive phone but think I am paying plenty for it at £150 as an upgrade.

What does everyone think of this deal or could I do better with 02 than this or better on another network?

    Any comments appreciated

    Cheers

Sounds like a resonable deal to me.

I e-mailed peter.erskine@o2.com with what they had told me, asking for any better deal. Sent last night, any idea when I could get a reply?
    Cheers

My contract's up on the 2nd July, and I rang them today... opinions please!!

I'm currently on the discounted Online 200 with 500txts, paying £15/mth. Last year, I got the SE K700i free with that.I called retentions, said I was thinking about leaving to PAYG, probably Three PAYG and was told the following:

I can continue my discounted Online 200/500txts for £15/mth

I could take £100 cashback or a choice of the following 3 phones:

    NEC 343i, SE Z520i, Nokia 5140i

Don't like any of them, but would rather have a new phone! Is it worth ringing back and attempting to get a better phone free, or is this my lot?

    TIA

How do you mean "withdrawn"? I've been promised one and told to ring back tomorrow when they're back in stock.

Hmmm, interesting. I've not seen anything anywhere else...is this true or was he telling porkies?

I want that handset and the only reason I signed up to a contract extension was because they promised me one.

How do I stand now then, can I cancel? I only accepted because they said I could have a W810i. I'll go elsewhere. I have an email from them saying I can have one when in stock.
