just an update on my previous post.. spoke to O2 again today and got the following deals on mine and hubs phones

on mine....02 500 ... 500mins and 300 text messages for £20 a month with £100 immediate credit to bill.... making my line rental 11.66 a month....

on hubs.. i said to the lady will change this to PAYG i think cos he doesnt use it much so she offered us O2 25 which is 25mins and 25 text for £6 a month but would offer us immediate £75 credit to bill.. effectively making his phone free for year with £3 profit.

we have both kept our own phones but as we are used to them this is no problem to us ...both the contracts are with rollover minutes as well , cant be bad

saves the hassle of cashback and getting PAC codes and thought all in all was a pretty good deal for the 2 of us

just checked as of this afternoon the Nokia N91 phone is no longer on the o2 website, it has been for the last week

Called o2 today and they offered me the o2 200 at £15 and o2 500 at £20 straight away (currently on o2 200).

What I want handset wise is the XDA Mini S which they said would cost me £79.99. Anybody been able to haggle this for free recently?

I dont think you will get it free on those tarriffs. get them down to about 50 quid and i think you have a real bargain.
