My son wanted 6280, two weeks ago.02 said they had been with drawn due to problems with phone.

I rang today and was told the same - that the Nokia 6280 had been recalled as they were having problems with the software. The woman I spoke to said that they were expected in on the 15th May, but don't hold your breath!

I was told that the current ones had been recalled but the new ones had new software to fix the bugs. Obviously I take that with a grain of salt.

No idea what phone to get if they don't get it back in stock. I want a Nokia but I want one that isn't a smart phone (had them for three years, sick to death) and has a big screen so the 6280 is ideal.

  • Hi,

I was just wanting to know something. I've been offered 200 anytime x network mins and 300 text and a new phone for £15. However people have been saying they have been offered 200mins and 500 texts. I've phoned 3 times so far, and they're telling me they can't offer me anymore for that price...! I was wanting to know if the people who got it are on a online/offline tariff. Im on a offline tariff.

Any advice what to do now, accept the offer? Or they told me to find a deal and they're try and match it (if so can people give me any deals for under £20), or just say im going?

    Thanks

    Amelia

What are the chances of me getting a new phone and cheaper contract with O2. I'm currently on 100 mins and txts per month for £25.00. I'm looking at Vodaphone's £20/mth for 125 mins & 250 txts. I also want the Sony Erricson W810i. My contract finishes 21st July.

Interestingly I was offered a good Three deal yesterday with a 6280 (400 x network mins + 400 txt +50 MMS + bluetooth headset and memory card) for £22.50 per month.

I phoned O2 to cancel my contract and they offered me 200 mins + 500 messages for £15 per month rather than the 50 mins I get at the moment for £19.50  . I agreed to a 12 month contract then at the last moment she decided that the phone would cost me £100 so I told her to cancel instead which she promptly did!

Guess my custom wasn't valuable then  .

Try 3. They had those in the shop and you could get a better deal if they offerred you something similar to the deal they offerred me.

I got the deal of 200 mins and 500 txts for £15. I'm on online customer. Apparently you are offered better deals by retentions for being an online customer.

I am an online customer - whatever that means  . I didn't sign up online but was persuaded by some guy who called me out of the blue so was surprised to find I am an online customer.
