Cheers cheeky!! Managed to get myself 100 xmins ans 200 texts with a pink nokia for £10 (had been paying £30) so now to sort Mr Savingsgirl! Last offer was £25/month for 500xmins and 200 texts and free phone so will see what they can do tomorrow.
I should sell the pink nokia as my 6020 is pristine but I wont!!

When I found a deal I liked online it was cashback by redemption but I didn't tell them this. They didn't ask so I didn't volunteer the info.

I just told them I had a better deal with 3. He asked me what it was. So i just said plain and simple well the line rental is the same but they are doing cashback. He matched the offer by reducing my line rental and even commented to me "plus it will save you having to go through cashback as the line rental is already discounted".

Didn't seem at all concerned the offer was cashback and was happy to match it! Guess it depends on who you speak to.

OK - so there have been plenty of results here, but how can you get them to give you a 'Special' deal, by moving from O2 PAYG to a pay monthly tarrif?

I've spoken to them a few times now & best they do, is pont you towards the O2 online tarrifs.

& these don't compare to The Link/ Carfone Warehouse & others.

    Any ideas??

Do you think I'll be able to get a good deal if I switch from Orange to O2? I've over run my 12 month contract by a few months so I'm free to leave when I want. Does anyone know the number to O2 sales so I can speak to someone direct? My girlfriend is in the same boat and was thinking maybe they could offer us a really good deal if we both switch from Orange to O2.

The O2 Retentions Dept looks after O2's existing customers, so it will be unlikely they will offer you a deal like has been mentioned in the above posts. The best thing to do would be to have a look at the O2 website, http://www.o2.co.uk and choose a deal from there. After your 12/18 month contract with O2 is up then you can call the retentions dept and they will offer you a good deal.
