Hi ruiner,
Is this for a 12 or 18 month contract?
What were you getting before?
Which number did you call?
B.
I know you weren't asking me, but thought i'd help out as i got the same deal.
This was for 12 months for me.
I am about to change it to the long weekends deal though as i don't think there are enough minutes there for me!Student MoneySaving Club member 0210 -

Took 600 X-net mins/500 texts for £40/mth = £480 with cashback/redemption of £480 leaving a net £0 payable over a 12 month contract (cashback at bills 4,8,12). But keep existing handset.
Offered 11 months to start but his ''manager'' reviewed the situation.0 -
I called o2. I've been on their £35 tarriff for a year, I threatened to leave and they put me through to retentions.
I said I wanted my PAC code, they offered my the SIMplicity tarriff at standard costs. They said they don't do 'special' offers for exisiting customers any more because it's not fair.
Two DIFFERENT employees said that to me.
How do I get them to give me a good offer!! Help!!0 -
I managed to change my contract (i was within the 14day opt out period).
I originally had:
500mins
500texts
12 months
£20 (usually £35)
I didn't really think that was enough, and i wanted the long weekends deal. I phoned back and they said they'd do it for £28 down from £35. I wasn't happy with this and said i'd phone back. I phoned back a few times but still got the same price quoted. Eventually i phoned back today and was planning to agree to the deal.
I told the operator i wanted to switch to:
600 mins
500 texts
2000 mins from friday to monday
usually £35
He then said "well since the other tariff you were on had a £15 discount why dont' we just transfer that over to this tariff making it £20"!
So i now have the above deal for £20 a month which is fantastic! I didn't use 087 numbers so that hasn't affected me luckily.Student MoneySaving Club member 0210 -

Tomorrow the E90 is coming out on o2 has anyone been given anyprice for this???
I have been told on a £35 a month contract the phone will cost £90
on a £40 a month contract it will be £20
These are both on 18 month contract and will get 20% line rental discount thus making it at £28 and £32 a month
After seeing above i will try to negotiate harder but anyone else let me know please0 -
