You can phone the O2 PAYG Retentions Team and ask them to put you on to the Call Bolt on 500 Tariff..This gives 500 Anytime X Network Mins for a top up of £23.50 per month. No Texts though

will they do this for anybody, or do you need to use lots of minutes for them to give it too you?

can you do this with the online 300 texts per month sim card? that would be a good deal if you could.

I've been reading through old posts on this thread and noticed a lot of people getting really good deals at renewal. My problem is that my contract doesn't end until next February but my monthly bills are too high and I need to reduce them.

I am an 02 online customer, currently paying £45 for 400 xnet mins and 1000 texts.

Is it possible to reduce my monthly amount and change to a different tariff at all?

    Hope someone can help,

    !!!!!!
  • Does anyone know of any other deals that O2 give to pay and go customers wanting to leave? i have been thinking of porting my number to vodafone

Do Orange do anything similar for pay and go - my other half has an orange phone...

check your t&c carefully. Orange allow people to change their contracts to a 'more suitable' tariff after 6 months, so maybe o2 do as well.

Just phone them up and say that your thinking of leaving to go to 3 as they offer 500 X Network mins for a £25 top up.

The advisor should then offer you the Call Bolt On 500.

If not just mention it to him/her and see what they say

Give the Retentions Team a call, i've heard of customers getting out there existing contracts if there is a month of two to go and getting a new deal.

I would phone them to enquire
  • Ok gave o2 a call on 0800 0288151 (thanks saynoto0870.com) im currently on the leisure time plus tariff (£20) and hardly ever got over my allowance. Also been on the contract for 11months now and requested a PAC off them. The guy (craig from retention dept) could only offer me £75 cash back and £10 off my current contract.

I told him i wanted to go on three and is expected to pay £15 month for 500 xnet mins and 500 text but he was unwilling to match this. I also wanted the k750i for free but he told me i would have to pay £89.99 for it. Does this mean in theory i could get the k750i for £14.99 and pay £10 a month for leisure time tariff on a 12mth contract?

no matter how many times the offer he was giving me was nowhere near my expected prices he just wouldnt take no for an answer and told me the PAc will be with you in two days and if i dont use it within 30days i would need to request another one. I might try my luck after lunch...
