just renewed for 200 mins/250 texts, £30 per month (12 months), £360 cashback with no handset. seemed ok to me!

I called them up also today, and the first thing I quoted was the e2save no handset sim only deal as jmarko, and she offered it gladly. Didn't end up taking it as I was jus testing them out.
  • Oh btw, one quick question. I haven't even reached my 11th month, and she was ready to upgrade as soon as my 10th month started. What happens to the rest of the 2 months? I asked her that, and she said .. that I would begin a new fresh contract for 12 months, implying that I would be cutting my original contract down to 10 months. Is this true?

I don't think so. Your new contract will only start straight away when your old contract ends BUT you may get your cashback/discount at the next bill cycle. At least it happens to me.

I have the same... due to renew the 11th of July but was actually told I could call from the June 11.

What if you mention the 12 month free line rental from lets say e2save. Do you think they can match? Last year I got £120 credit on my account when I renewed.

I did ask for an exact match to that 12 month free line rental, and the operator was quite willing to give it to me. So its worth a shot?

but have sorted out a great deal I think with 02

they have messed me about for about two weeks including sending out a wrong handset so rung em back up to get pac code, let em stew for a week then rang back tonight.

    I got

LG Prada Phone (first offered at £89, then down to £19 and then after I said am off free)
    500 Minutes any network
    500 Text Messages
    12 Month contract

    £25 a month

Did not ask about if 0845 etc numbers were included in the inclusive minutes but when all the numbers you need are on say no to 0870 it dunt matter.

Anyone had better than this!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Right feeling confident, time to crack the heads of Sky Digital!!!!:T :T :T :T

I was on o2 200 mins with 50 texts for £15 p/m (half price deal). I usually text about 100 and speak about 100.

Called to renew yesterday and they would only offer me the deal I'm on for £25 so I said I would investigate other deals on the web.

I requested my PAC code today, as 3 where doing a deal for £12-50 (75 mins, 600 text). They said they could offer me 100 text and 100 mins for £15 a month with a Sony K610i.

That will do me, I'm not bothered by the type of phone and its a cheap enough deal to keep me.

I'm phoning tonight to get my wife the same deal on her upgrade, or we will both leave to 3! This is well within our usage (and within the 14 day cooling off period).

Right they sent me my pac code but I don't really want to leave do you reckon it will be worth ringing up tomorrow and say what's the final deal they will make me with a relatively cheap phone nokia 5500 and if not ask them to move me to a pag sim card on o2?
