They wouldn't let me cancel my contract with only two months to go- even when I offered them a decent amount of money to terminate.
As I've stated before I'm on 500 mins /500 texts for 25 quid (discounted from 35). What I want in an ideal world is 400 mins and 1000 texts for the same price (although I would offer to pay a slight upgrade fee for a new phone)- arguing that the mobile market has moved on in the last 12 months and if i were to go SIM only they would not have the guaranteed amount of cash per year (over 300 quid) as I could cancel after a month.
I spend a lot with 02 (40 to 50 quid a month) and have been with them five years (one year not upgrading my phone), does anyone know if that deal would be possibe?

I have thumbed through as much as I can but can't find what I want and site is pretty slow so .............could someone please give me the name and email address of the person to complain to please?
Sorted son's deal out last November, fine for three months and now see they are just giving him text free messages this month and no minutes. Am not a happy bunny as they say he has only ever been on the Online 200 SIM Only. That is totally wrong and I have sent emails to them asking them to correct this month's bill which is not looking good but they can't. So I thought I would write to the boss man as the same thing happened last year.

My post 1496 showed the deal I had agreed to. I'd hardly agree to a Online 200 SIM Only and pay £100 for a new phone would I! :mad: :mad:0 -
No problem. I had to contact Peter Erskine last year when O2 stuffed up my sons' upgrades - promises made and no kept for both of them.
Was sorted within a couple of days and the original deal honoured.0 -
Thanks jem. I have now sent him an email. The correct tariff has been going through for three months now so how I could come out of contract and go Sim Only as well as pay £100 for a new phone is beyond me
. They won't agree they are in the wrong though. I had the same problem last year as well. Not good! :mad:
