Do o2 allow you to change the tariff once the phone arrives without actually canceling?

I'm not sure. Best call them and ask about it asap so you know what to do next
  • I just got 1150 texts and 750 anytime minutes and a se k800i for £20 per month from o2. (on an 18 mnth contract)
They told my bf that it depends on how much you spend as to what upgrade deal you will get. If you are a low spender they wont offer much.

that works out to £360! i can't understand why people go for the 18 months? Please let me know what i am missing here.

Also, are you really going to use all 1150 texts and 750 minutes?

I don't think thats really possible, and to pay for that for 18 months is a total con.
  • Yep i use all of those minutes and texts and used to pay £40 so I am v.v happy with it - £20 is a BIG downsize from what my mobile bills used to be so I am glad - for example I have just went from £480 in a year (at LEAST) usually always over to £360 for 18 months on £20 a month.
So have saved £240 at LEAST

if u r under 18, the contract cannot be enforced (subject to certain exceptions). what age/DOB did she state.....?
  • If someone had put the incorrect date of birth in to obtain the contract, would the debt still stand? (not implying the girl has done this, just out of interest?)
