i spend around 25£ per month. I called O2 again but they wont change their deal. Just called 3 and after some up and down, they offered N73 free with 400 min and 250 txt (double mins and txt for 6 months) for 17.50£ for 1st 6 months and 35£ for rest 12 months on an 18 month contract. They also offered 75£ Credit back on my bill. So adding it all up i got 25£ per month over the period of 18 months. I guess this a good deal. What do you guys recon....?0

I called again and reffered to other sites offering better deals but they wont offer anything better. I am ready to pay 20£ per month and want w810i with it. Do you guys recon a third call will make any difference? Any suggestions.....
you will not get a better dealing coming from payg - the offers are only for people renewing there CONTRACT.0 -
since going onto the online 500 retention tariff last my bill has been rarely gone over the £15 i pay for the line rental...though this month id gone on hol and clocked up nearly £90 on this months bill.
phoned retentions a few times before my current bill and was told my average spend was too low and got offered my current contract for £25 p/m and the k800i for £170
phoned again after this months bill and they offered me at first 500mins and 300texts for £20 after a bit of haggling i managed to get my current contract of 500mins and 500texts for £23 plus the k800i for £79.99.
I see alot of people got the same deal for 20 p/m but i guess theyre average spend is alot higher than mine...0 -
I phoned 02 yesterday having just come off the discount 500 tariff (paying £25 per month). Told them that I wanted to reduce my monthly bill to £15 having seen deals on other providers. The first woman offered me 500 mins and 500 txts for £20 or 250 mins and 100 txts for £15. A K800i would cost me £69.99. Tried to sell me the K610i as being the same phone which it clearly isn't!
Phoned back later to get a best offer of 250 mins and 100 txts for £20 and the phone for £79.99!!!
I'm now concerned that I'm losing out on deals by repeatedly phoning. Do they keep a record of the number of times you get in touch? I also used the 202 customer service number on my phone. Is there a better number that I could use? I'm not an online customer, but bought the phone from an 02 store.
I've also been offered the E900 for free. I'd like the K800i, but then the objective was to reduce my monthly outgoings, so is this a good alternative?
Thanks0 -
@katyf
500/500 for £20 is the standard deal they can offer now, and £70 or £80 is the standard upgrade price for the K800i unless your monthly spend is big.
The price of the K800i should drop at some point, so try and negotiate a deal with them now on your tarriff, and ask them when they expect the price to drop.
The E900 is almost as good a phone and IMO is a better deal for free than £70 for K800i0 -
I have been on the discount 750 for months now and I just got the Nokia N80 on upgrade from a P910i and the battery doesn't even last a day, really disapointed. Also the screen keeps freezing and its the slowest phone I have ever known.
Might get the K800i but on another netwok now. Doesn't matter how much they offer me to stay, I've had so many customer service issues with O2 that i'm off.
EG last months phone bill was so wrong I'm owed £85.35!!!! Glad I checked it!0 -
Just come off the phone....currently on Online 50 : 50mins / 500 Text. Was offered Online 200 (200min/500text) for £20 and then within 30 secs offered Online 500 (500min/500text) for £20.
Been quoted the £100 resign deal with the W810i coming in at 89.99 after discount and the Nokia 6280 for 99.99.....
Not sure whether to spend the 89.99 and ebay my W800i......What should I put in here that won't upset people.........0 -
Pieman,
If you pay £90 for the W810i then it is effectively costing you £190 less whatever you get for the W800. You might be better off getting the E900 for free if you havent considered it. Its out of stock till the 25/9 tho0
