What make of mobile do you have?
T-Mobile do a "Web 'n' Walk" plus daily. That's Unlimited data access for £4 per day, you only use it when you want. Not cheap if you are using it all the time but good if it's only now and again.
If your mobile is "3g" compatible then it's just the £4 per day.
If not then the USB dongle costs £99

Hello
I have just looked at the site
I think I will need a new phone
I need ot look for a phone "3g"? Do I have to buy from T Mobile or can I go elsewhere
£4 is ok for the time I will be using it - some days I may not use it - or just for a short time while I see if I have any emails.
If you can point me in the right direction as to the names of the phones I have to look out for - that would be gt.
Many thanks

Hello
I have listed this on another forum .. sorry was confused.
I am going to be travelling in the UK for about 6 weeks. I have a laptop and would like to use this whenever I can. Not trying to find hotspots etc before I can log in
Went into T Mobile to ask about their b/band plan. Straight away they talked me out of this for a 2 year contract at £15 per month which I don't think I need
Went to 3. Same again. Tried to talk me into a contract for 12 months at £15 per month
I do not want to enter into a contract - I just want to be able to keep in touch with emails for the weeks I am away. I will look on the net at my next destinationetc but I will not be downloading or watching DVDs nothing like that
Can someone please advise of any other options as T Mobile and 3 really tried to sell me a contract.
Oh and if you say about a dongle(????) can you explain what one of these are and would I need one!
Many thanks

Don't knowif this has been mentioned already, but you can get a 3 PAYG dongle for £39.99 at play.com.
Plus go via quidco for an extra £1.60 offWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Thats your best bet! No one but 3 do PAYG mobile internet.
Be more assertive in the shops to not buy a contract. Staff in these shops have their performance measured by how many new contracts they can sell in a month.
Thanks for the link to Play, best price I've seen for that dongle!0 -
Hello ... me again
Yes I will be more assertive.
So I sound as if I know what I am talking about before going back to shop can you please tell me the following
If I buy a dongle (I googled it)
do I still need a contract with 3?
Or do I like my phone - phone up and add credit to my phone
Sorry but all this is new to me at the moment .... I will get there in the end
