I'm getting married in September and want to loose a stone before the big day, i've already lost 7lbs but I'm at a bit of a plateau at the minute.

i reckon a wee bit of variety in my diet meals might help me stay on the straight and narrow
i travel a lot to get to and from work, typically leaving my house at 6.30am, not reurning till 7.30pm.
my breakfast therefore needs to be quick (going through a weetabix phase currently), my lunch made the night before (typically sandwiches or might grab some soup from fridge), and when i get home each night i mostly can't be bothered cooking from scratch and usually want something quick and easy to prepare.
I tend to go through food phases and eat the same type of thing for a while, get moved, move onto something else...
I'd like some inspiration and a change .... anyone got any good diet meal ideas?0 -

Try this as snack food or a starter.
Mix the following ingredients
Peppered mackeral fillets
low fat mayo
Pink lady apple
walnuts
Squeeze of lime'
Serve on some gem lettuce.
Very filling and full of goodness:D0 -

yes, that is very difficult pineapple_head - my workplace is the same, constant birthday cakes, buns and sweeties, team nights out (invariably involving grub and booze) and endless meals out for new people and leavers
i guess if i had behaved myself and not ate things such as these to excess in the first place i would not be in my current situation and would be able to partake in moderation
at least that's what i tell myself .... must keep resisting temptation!! :rotfl:0 -
How is everyone getting on so far over the past few days???0

Things are going well this week so far, but the weekends seem to be the hardest for me because the kids and DH are here and there is always lots of nice things to eat.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

Pretty good for me as well, I have upped my fruit intake which is a miracle for me. I'm not a fruit fan
Will weigh myself again in a few days to see how much, if any, weight has come off.
Also got a bargain in the co-op last night. A pilates DVD for me and Mum to do, £2.95
Hopefully we will be ok with it and the strictly dance DVD that Mum has as well0
