Not so bad for me today, I don't work weekends, so it's easier for me to keep tabs on what I'm eating.
My day job involves a lot of driving and I tend to graze as a result, not taking time for a proper lunch.
Today..........
Breakfast - french toast made with brioche (not low fat I know but it filled me up until teatime)
Lunch - nothing
tea - 2 sausages, dry fried, mashed potatoes, sweetcorn, peas and carrots.
Will have 2 or 3 drinkies later and that will be it. I'm determined not to nibble anything tonight.0 -
Hi is anyone else like me and can't start their diet until a Monday? Of course I am pigging out for the last time before the big diet!
If I can stick to WW points - 17 a day - I will lose the stone I need to lose but it's so hard when I'm trying to have a life - and eating out is my favourite hobby - expensive too but I will try harder to resist. Does anyone else feel they should reward themselves for working so hard - and for me a reward is a nice meal - that's part of my downfall.
I have porridge for breakfast every morning and usually with blueberries or a banana on top - I like it and keeps me going well up to lunchtime and beyond. Mon-Fri is usually easy for me but then I fall off the wagon at weekends. However even joining this group has given me some motivation so I'm going to tell you how well I get on every week - you see, I'm an eternal optimist and besides I have bought a very nice outfit for a wedding in May and the dress doesn't zip up the back yet - so I have no option but to count points.
Hope everyone else is doing well and we can motivate each other with our successes.

Oh dear back to the drawing board again....
although my coat is definitely buttoning up a little bit easier around the bum so something I did earlier in the week has paid off a little bit....
I'm usually good at sticking to this stuff, not sure what is up with me at the minute but I'm driving myself mad ...grrrr....
New week starts on Monday.0 -
Hmmm, good + bad bits to report from here. Good stuff included hm soup for tea yesterday and 1/2 plate of veg for tea this evening. The bad stuff includes skipping breakfast, zero exercise, crisps, choccy biscuits, wine and crisps again.
Ps like the potential new name. Seems appropriate!I fear we may have to change the name to the 'Norn Iron Guilty Secrets Club' at this rate lol0 -
Anyone else fancy setting a target date?
Nope
I wasn't too bad today. Breakfast boiled egg, lunch nothing, tea mash mixed veg and a chicken breast wrapped in bacon stuffed with cheese.
Downfall was 4 hob nobs, but they were homemade one that I found on the OS board so at least I know what's in them0 -
I have been very good this week apart from Thursday and weigh in tomorrow for the 1st time at my ww class, am very nervous and would really like to see at least 2lb off.
I think i will set my target for 2st by 29th April which is a week before our holidays. I would like to loose more than that but if i set myself a higher target i start to panic as i think it's impossible.I would like to be able to admire a man’s opinions as I would his dog - without being expected to take it home with me."

I'm setting myself a target of 11 July as that is the day I go on holiday. I am determined not to go away on holiday again feeling like beached whale, it makes me miserable every year and every year I come back vowing not to be the same size next year but still I am not any further on ( sighs loudly, then pinches a couple of inches!)Live on a little over £4k challenge

So far today.... 2 slices homemade sunflower seed bread, 1 homemade hobnob.
Keep fingers crossed0 -
i'd a really bad nibbly day yesterday ... i fell off the diet 'wagon' but was relieved when i totted it all up as i hadn't exceeded 2000 kcals ... will write yesterday off as a non weight movement day!
trying to get back to the diet today.
2 weetabix for breakfast 180 kcals
lunch was risotto 220 kcals, then had slice wheaten with jam 100kcals
dinner was gammon steak & pineapple & cheese 205kcals, carrot & parsnip mash 100kcals, then yoghurt 100kcals.
snacks were two bananas 180kcals, 1 apple 50kcals, 1 shortbread finger 100kcals, then half a pack of low-sugar marshmallows 100kcals
i only lost a pound last week which I know is still weight loss but i found kind of disheartening. At my current weight, anything less than 2lbs loss per week seems insignificant.
i really need to stop eating crap nibbly stuff like shortbread, crackers, marshmallows, etc, so simple plan for next supermarket trip - fruit only for snacks.0
