    Thanks for this GAZ$. Managed to reserve for Wednesday pick-up. The other half keeps on saying we need these when we go shopping as he doesn't want to waste the mobile bill so at this price I'm double money saving!!

    Thanks OP, now dos anyone know if its posible to get the reservation number at all as i reserved some for wednesday and asked it to email me the number, never wrote it down and never got the damn email :( will they beable to find it on there system at all?

    Reserved one of these yesterday, traipsed into Argos today with my printout to be told they are now £24. They refused to honour the price pointing out the it says on the note that prices may change on a daily basis. What is the point? Surely they should stick to the price it was reserved at or note when the offer expires when you reserve it.

    Chris I just had the same hassle.

    When I tried to pay at the normal till I was told £24, so went to customer services till and explained that it is advertised on their site in the clearance section as 'over 1/2 price' and is £8.73. She checked the site on her computer and said that it kept on crashing and dropping the connection etc. Then she went back to saying well theyre £24 today on our system. Blah blah blah, then she went off to find the manager, and she obviously didn't expect me to lean over the desk and check her monitor !! - Yes - sure enough was the Argos page stating the price of £8.73!!!! Why was she denying it?!?! ggrrrr. Well they came back and then the manager looked at it and said to over-ride the price.

    I think part of the problem is that they are not in the current catalogue, and I think the one that comes up on their system is/was a different model - not the 'plus' .

    Got there in the end, but took a while. Theyre on charge now :)
