No luck for me - went in and the computer came up with 28 quid. BUT!... Phoneed customer services and he asked which store... also confirmed the cat no without me telling him it (so he must have had others asking), and he phoned the store. It has been put back for me until tomorrow and they will overide the price (he spoke to the manager).

    Fight for it people! :D

    The fight continues...........

I've rung customer services and stated my case, especially since the r&r price is still £8.73.

I've been advised to go to the local store and discuss with the local store manager, as they cannot make a decision.

Will pay a visit at lunchtime, but I'm not optimistic.

They SHOULD phone the store for you - they did it for me and it worked. Don't give up!

I went in yesterday having reservered by Internet but the price came up at £24.95. They refused to sell quoting print on form saying prices change on a daily basis and that the item was now this price. Came home checked on website price still £8.73. Now I'm a bit upset so reserve again. The following day ie today check on website and still £8.73. Before i leave i ring R&R line, it says todays price is £8.73. I take printouts to the store and speak to manager again, this time I show printouts from yesterday and today, explain to manager that she said that the price had gone up to £24,95 yesterday which is absolutely untrue and say that I have rung R&R line and today and todays price is £8.73. At this point she gives in and overides the price as I have made it quite clear i would not be going away without making some sort of scene in the shop as they can hardly advertise a price on web and R&R then charge something else, I suspect trading stds would have something to say. Anyway got them for £8.73. The manager was polite and friendly at all times and eventually gave in with good grace!!

Apparently the price went up on the 20th, but my local Wellingborough store stated that as I had ordered on the 17th (and they were not in store until the 20th) they would sell as promised. No problems although manager had to get involved...
