    1. What meals can I bulk cook to freeze?
    2. How long will they last in freezer?
    3. Do I defrost them before cooking?
    4. Any other tips?

I bought chicken, froze it, then defrosted and cooked it, then shoved it back in the freezer again.
    I don't think I can do this, can I ?
  • yes that's fine but it cannot be frozen again now. I personally usually portion it before freezing it cooked.

Also you must have a four* freezer.

    Hi mardatha,

Yes you can, it will be fine. The general rule is meat can be frozen once raw and then after it's been defrosted and cooked it can be frozen again but only once. I'm sure I answered a question like this recently. Yes I did. ;)

I'll add your post to that thread. :)

I made a HUGE batch of mince & tatties in the SC - mince in the big side, and in the wee side the tatties. I want to freeze all this, how exactly do I freeze the potatoes ?

Did you peel the tatties or leave the skins on?

If the tatties are peeled, I'd be inclined to mash them and then freeze them separately that way. When you're defrosting them, you could add a splash of milk and/or butter to bring them back to life

When you say mince in the big side, tatties in the small, does the slow cooker have a divide crockk pot then?
