I make Delia's recipe and it's fine to freeze, in fact I freeze most soups as there's always too much. The unfortunate thing about all Delia's recipes is she doesn't give any advice about freezing

There are a couple of soups that i try not to freeze as I don't think they freeze well, the vegetable bits always seem a bit kind of chewy. These are leek and potato and mushroom."Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

Hi everyone
About to make lunch so a quick reply would be really appreciated. A few months ago i froze a block of red leicester cheese, i took it out and put it in the fridge a few days ago. Is it ok to eat?'They only had one cow!'0 -
Yes, your cheese should be perfectly OK to eat but freezing may well have made it rather cumbly so you may be better grating some of it up to use on toast, in cheese sauces, savoury flans, etc.0
