just been to freezer to get out dinner for tomorrow and there sat in front of me was my shop bought xmas pud frozen solid/ son thought it was like one of the frozen puds we have bought in icelaland in the past. i have taken it out but will it be ok still to use on xmas day?0

it should be fine - a few years ago i developed obstuctive jaundice in december and was imediatly told to go on a fat free diet (no alcohol either). as its only me and my mum who eat christmas pud my mum did not see the point of cooking the shop bought pudding for herself - so joined the rest of the family in the apple pie they have instead - the pudding was put into the freezer until i could share it 5 1/2 months later - it never came to any harm.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

I can't see why it wouldn't be ok. They seem pretty indestructible.0

Hello,
Just wanted to check whether it is fine to freeze beef mince after browning it off. My freezer went off and a couple things started to defrost, including two packs of mince, which I wasn't going to be using until New Years Eve. Is it ok to cook it and then once cooled, bag up and put in the freezer?

Sausage roll freezing question
I hope I've got this in the right place.
I have some sausagemeat and puff pastry in the fridge to make some sausage rolls, which I want to freeze for Boxing Day - is it better to cook them first and cool and freeze them? or put them in the freezer uncooked -and if so do I defrost them before cooking them? (I'm a novice about freezing meat)
many thanks0 -
