Morning.
If I make a cottage pie mix to freeze, can I use frozen sweetcorn and peas in it?

Yes you can. I've frozen all kinds of previously cooked vegetables in various forms, including vegetable stir fries in their sauces. Obviously it's ideal not to freeze them for too long but I suspect most of us are not that efficient at rotating our freezer stock.0

Hi Mrs Weasley,
Yes you can freeze them raw but they will be soft when defrosted and only useful for cooking with. This link might help: freezing raw tomatoes

Ok this may sound an odd q,but can i freeze the morrisons value curry sauce ?
reason i am asking is i am making some pickled eggs and pickling some onion's. and i need some jars. went to morrisons and bought curry sauce as 28p for the jar is cheaper than buying empty jar's. however i simply can't just throw the sauce away it just doesn't seem right. the other option is eat curry for next week or so, lol.which if thats what i need to do instead of throwing it then i will.
Thanks judie0 -
Yes you can! I wanted to buy some cheap curry sauce for 4p so i could use them for jam unfortunately they had gone up in price so i opted for 8p mint sauce jars instead! It's the start of the no takeaway challenge.0

thats good , thankyou . mint sauce at my local tesco is now 27 p ! i did look at the mint sauce jar's. but thought i'd only get a couple of eggs in each or onions, lol.0

I always end up with carrots and celery amongst other veg that I haven't used, was just wondering is it possible to freeze to use another day? How should I freeze it, do I need to cook it first? Would it then be ok to use in soups etc?
Sorry for the probably silly questions but not sure and it could save me some pennies if I can.
