Susie77, I was in the same boat but my transfer finally went through in September. OH is still waiting for his transfer to go through so you are not
alone. His money is lost in the ether
The local branch manager said he will be fully compensated (Believe it
when I see it ) I'm dreading next year when we all transfer out again :eek:0 -
I transfered a large sum into the 6.5% fixed ISA last March and was lucky to find it all went through okay. I have paid this years ISA into another ISA account and I also have other ISA savings. Can I still transfer into this ISA ?0

I opened this ISA in April, since then I have transferred two maturing fixed rate ISAs, one in August and one in October.

Lloyds phoned me the other day to see if I wanted to come into a branch and discuss the ISA, and see if they could sell me anything else (Basically). I said I am ok at the moment, but he said they will phone again when the 12 months is coming up on the ISA offer, to reoffer the next 12 month deal, or advise me what is the best thing to so.
Can't fault them for trying.0 -

Are you sure it was the Lloyds fixed rate 6.5% product you transferred these other ISA's into in August and September? I opened one of these in March and went in the other day to ask about transferring another ISA into it which has just matured and was told I couldn't transfer it in because this account is no longer on sale so therefore I can-not add any further funds to it including further ISA transfers.0 -

I went into my local Lloyds branch the other week and was given forms so I could make further transfers from other ISA's to my Lloyds fixed ISA which I had also opened in March. I was going to transfer a variable ISA from the Halifax but realised that this could take over a month to complete and with my Lloyds maturing in March I decided it was better just to change it from a variable ISA to fixed Halifax ISA paying 5.25% until November 2009. To make this change took less than one minute and was carried out while I waited. I noted when I checked my account on the Internet that the interest the variable ISA had received this tax year was also added to the fixed ISA.0 -
I received a letter inviting me to take money out without penalty - yeah right!
They also confirmed the maturity date as one year after the first funds were received0 -

Not long now before we find out what generous rate these cowboys will pay those of us deemed not worthy of the early bird offer (max 3.75% fixed)! Bet it won't be as good as that. The early bird really got the worm. The rest of us will probably get the hump.0 -

yeah i had that letter too............funny how they seemed to have changed their minds over the maturity date!!!:T
i complained to them about this because they were adamant it started from date of application:mad: . i wonder if they've relented under an avalanche of complaints and maybe a word from the FOS:rotfl: :j0 -
Is this ISA safe considering what has happened to Lloyds over the past few days?In an Acapulco hotel:
The manager has personally passed all the water served here.:rotfl:0
