My maturity date is today, but no interest so far!! Will it actually be tomorrow when it appears?

In the bank on their computers you can actually see the interest added on a daily basis !! So you can find out anytime the full value of your ISA.
  • It's not showing in my online account yet. I'll see if it appears tomorrow.
  • Interest has appeared in account today:j

I'm pleased I got in with the early bird offer for the coming year too. There doesn't seem anything better out there at the moment.

This has just remeinded me that my maturity date must be about now. I guess the Lloyds ISA will have dropped to near zero % on the 12 month anniversary.

What was that "early bird" offer? If that's passed what's a good place to transfer now?

It was available and withdrawn in February - tired rates of up to 3.75% (on balances >£30,000). The currently-available FRISA offers tiered rates of up to 3.2%.

This post shows most of the 'best buys' - scroll down to find those that accept transfers.
  • It was really nice to receive that 6.5% interest lump sum, but also with great sadness as the next year's interest won't be half that amount. *sigh*

The big day is tomorrow !! lol ..the anniversary of my 6.5% ISA. The following day the £30000 plus interest should be transfered to the the new 1 year 3.2% fixed ISA. So this means interest of £1950 plus £53 because of the few days they had my cheque from the previous provider and before they paid it into my account. So that means £32003 will go into the new 3.2% ISA or will it!! I wonder if anybody still follows this thread and is really interested !!

I feel cheated... they have done me out of £2!!! Other then that it all went through okay and the lesser rate new FR ISA was started

Has anyone successfully transferred their ISA out of Lloyds yet? I didn't get the early-bird offer, and I don't have £30,000 in cash ISAs to qualify for 3.2% from Lloyds this year, so I'm going for the 3.1% guaranteed rate from First Direct.

I posted my transfer forms for two ISAs to First Direct last week, and my other existing ISA at Barclays has already been closed. As Lloyds are currently paying me a low rate I expect they'll try to hold on to my money for a while, but for how long?

They have 30 days from when asked by your new provider to effect the transfer.

or you could pop into a LLoyds bank and they will instantly transfer you to the new 3% FR ISA and you will even keep your old FR ISA reference number. You must insist you dont want to speak to a financial advisor as that is all you intend to do. I think you can even add to the FR ISA in the next tax year which is quite unusual.
