I have cancelled the upgrade...will hold out for a better deal...plus i dont think the 600/500 tarriff is good for me cos there is no picture message allowance included!

Will see if they have any good new flext 40 deals in a few months.

Were T-Mobile on Quidco recently with an offer of over£100 for a contract?

I must have been thinking of the o2 promotion a few weeks back. I just thought that T-Mobile had increased their commission over the last few months also.

This isn't retentions related exactly. I am on PAYG. My sister has two contracts at around £30-40 each with T-mo and has been with them for years, so I call/text people using one of those numbers as it's "free".

I want to get a BB 9700. Customer service woman offered me this after speaking to her manager:
300 mins, unlimited texts & internet & BIS.
£30 for first six months & then £35 thereafter (18mth contract). That works out to £33/month or £600 overall.

I mentioned that O2 have exactly the same deal but for £30/mth (18 mth contract). Orange & Vodafone have almost the same deal except they cap their internet to 500mb.

A friend of mine got a new contract on her free 8900 when it first came out for £30 with 600mins, unlimited texts & net. So, I want the Bold 9700 for £25 ideally, but £30 max. I said if she matched O2's deal then I would go for it. She didn't. Is it worth calling up to try again with someone else? I don't think the new plans are worth it & regret not jumping on the combi 35/36 offer thing they had.

How good are the offers from tmobile retentions? Not too great from what I've read in this thread. I've been with them 26months (8 over contract!) with flext25 at £20, while I use only a fraction of the allowance.

    Much chance they'd take 1/3 off the monthly cost of a Desire? (From £30m + £60 for 24m to £20/m + £60)

Otherwise I'm pondering cutting my costs by getting a Pulse PAYG, or wait 3 weeks and see if they'll maybe put the Wildfire down to £15/m (seems it's expected to be £20/m from 14 June). Actually tempting to ditch tmobile since for whatever reason only 3 gets good reception in my flat.

    Hello

I am due for an upgrade in the next week or so, and wanted some advise, before I call T mobile.

I am currently on an old flext 35 contract... and wanted to change this to a much cheaper flext tariff (the one where you would get web / internet as part of the package)...I like the flext tariffs and believe existing members can still have them?

I just wanted to ask if anyone know's if this is a fast high speed internet connection? Also if the data usuage on it is high as well?

Would this Tariff be suitable / work well with the Iphone? I am keen to get the new Iphone.. but do not want a very high monthly contract.

I am not sure what I need to make sure I have in my plan to ensure that the new Iphone will work well with it, when I get it... I am planning to call retentions in the next week or so...

Thanks in advance for any advise...

I don't know if you would be able to get this with a IPhone but T-Mobile do a Flext 35 (24 month) contract for exsting customers. You get £225.00 worth of allowance plus w&w. This is normaly a 1GB Fup unless you have a data heavy phone eg Android in which case it's 3GB Fup.

I'm due an upgrade, and already have an iPhone 3GS that I'm fairly happy with, and if wanted a 4 would probably buy outright eventually.

Been paying for flext 35 w+w (around £43 a month) for last 18 months. Phoned retentions and got offered:

£15 month/ 24 months. Unlimited Texts, Unlimited Internet and 900 Minutes, with a chance to upgrade when I see a phone I like. Also gave £10 month discount until I decide what to do.

What do people think? Been with them 14 years (!) and never been to retentions, always wanted a new gadget instead!
