What do you think. I was on a £30 per month 12 month cashback deal before?
Further to this: I rang a few more times and after quite a bit of haggling for £5 per month (24 months) I got:
1. Free Nokia 6303
2. 300 cross network minutes
3. Unlimited texts
4. 6 months free mobile internet
I had to try a few times as this was a 'below the line' deal and so had to be ok'ed by managers. The first 2 said no but eventually one said yes as I kept going on about a 'good friend' who had been given the same deal last week.
I'm very pleased with this. It'll be the 1st time in years when I won't have to worry about cashback :T.0 -
gr8 thought it just needs pushing.lol i will do the same tell them i know of these 2 deals and its a yes or no. i would rather get the htc tbh as i can get about 150 smackeroonys for that.lol0

How good or bad is the Nokia 6303? The HTC phone sounds so much better and i wouldnt mind paying the tenner for the phone but 100 mins i dont think is enough for me. Great deals though. Will be pushing for the fiver deal myself x0

The Nokia 6303 is a good and very reliable phone - if a little boring. I only use my phone for calls and texts and don't want a fancy touch screen phone. I'm probably going to sell the 6303 on ebay for £50 and keep my Nokia 6300.
Undoubteldy the HTC is a better phone (sells for £200 on ebay) but I don't think you'll get as good a deal - it might be worth it for you though depending on how much you want a new expensive phone
If anyone is interested I can pm you my mobile phone number so they can access my account to find the same deal. Once I rang the upgrades department and said that my girlfriend had been given the deal and they asked me for her mobile number ... I was then a bit stuck as she has a rubbish contract with Three :rotfl:.
Pm me if anyone's interested0 -
Wow would they go that far to get someones number? So how did you get around that one? I was going to go with the friend reccommend the tarriff. Thanks for the number offer =D x0

What are the deals like that they offer you in store for upgrades? The account is in my dad's name even though it's my phone (long story) and they refuse to talk to me over the phone about upgrading and my dad doesn't really want to talk to them about it (he's strange like that). He says he'll come in store with me to talk to them about it. At the moment I have a samsung soul on combi 30 (unlimited texts and 700 minutes for £30) but I really want a blackberry and Orange (through the carphone warehouse) are offering Blackberry Curve (the new one) with unlimited texts, 600 minutes and unlimited internet and blackberry email for £25. Will they be able to match it in store if i threaten to go and take a new contract out the same evening?Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

If you know you fathers name and password on his account then t-mobile should talk to you over the phone being a password holder - if you perhaps call when your father is with you as well then if they did ask to speak to him it will be literally 2 seconds to confirm additional security information, and then you can deal with the rest of the call. There are alot of good deals out there i suggest calling 150 first of all, as there are some different deals you can sometimes get. But it good your know what you want.0

Can i just say that just because a friend or family member got a particular deal doesnt mean that everyone will be entitled to it. These deals are usually put together using an individual customer loyalty value (spend). And your spend could be different to your friends. Deals that are available to everyone are the deals that your see online & instore (these are direct match deals) what you see is what you get no changes.0

hi all,
i called T-Mobile yesterday to cancel and was offered the £5 deal for 300mins/unlimited texts. Its a 24 month contract (tried my hardest to get it down to 12 but wasn't happening). I also carried on with my mobile internet for a fiver a month. Should I have tried to get more out of them (free internet, handset etc.) or does that seem an ok deal? Seems like some people have got a lot more for there money, though I did think it was quite a good deal at the time.0
