i use at least 500mins a month so that wouldnt really work.
interestingly i just rang e2save (who i got my current deal through) and the guy offered me £35pm 600 mins 500 texts plus bolt on with £450 cashback making its equivilant of £10 a month...i'm sorely tempted...
think theres anything better from o2?0 -
I just got the following deal from retentions:
400 mins and 1000 texts for £15 a month with £150 credit so it works out as £6.67 a month which is great.
Decided against a new handset as I already have the Nokia n95 8gb."He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,
He will kill your cat and nail him to the door"

i'm currently in the 11th month of a 12 month deal
£ 35 per month on SE w710i phone
600 x network mins
100 txts
no internet allowance.
never ever went above the limits and never used the full mins or txt.
any idea what I could get if I went to the retention dept.
have to make a decision on wheter I want to go for another 18 month deal and (I could do with a NEW shiny phone) or just go for the simplicity deal. Please help and advice0 -
I came to the end of a £45 per month contract and called to cancel. I was offered Simplicity at £10 pm, same as new customers can get, 150 mins 300 txt. I also asked for 512KB web allowance and got that, but he wouldn't give me 1MB.
Reading some posts it seems I may have been able to wrangle a credit to my account?
I may need to call back during my Cooling Off period.
The guy I spoke to at O2 retentions said they are expecting iPhone discounts in the New Year, but he had no further information. He readily told me this without asking about iPhone discounts.0 -
Erm...Not sure if this is off topic, but I figured since it's related to retentions, I'll give it a shot.
As I mentioned earlier, I've asked for my PAC...and received it today. Was on the 12 month contract but since it's expired, I'm on the simplicity deal. Will my request for the PAC also be a request for my cancellation? Or do I have to call them up to tell them to cancel my line.
A bit clueless - sorry if this sounds like a silly question0 -

When you use your PAC it will cancel the contract, if you haven't set a date for disconnection and don't use your PAC then your contract will continue to roll.Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

Is this the case? There's been a fair amount of speculation about iphone deals, with more than one of us being told (both on this forum and when speaking to O2 retentions) that iphone deals are soon to arrive. But NO indication of timespan, e.g. are we talking days, weeks, months?
Anyone else any ideas? This post about the New Year is first really mentioning a time. I was hoping it was going to be sooner, i.e. now!!
BFJWaddle you do eh?0 -
I was told that by the time my simplicity initial 30day period was up (4th Dec), there should be some better deals on the iPhone/Tocco etc...:A Luke 6:38 :AThe above post is either from personal experience or is my opinion based on the person God has made me and the way I understand things. Just spoke to retentions are they're now saying 'if anything happens with the iphone' (I think it's safe to assume it will), then deals will be in January, not before........Waddle you do eh?0 -
