How do I get the inside of my microwave clean
Comments
-
Hi All,
Thanks for your suggestions. I have tried to clean the microwave four times. First with a drop of fairy in bowl of boiling water and then with lemon. After the fourth go no condensation appeared to be forming in the microwave it was bone dry.
It's still not perfectly clean.....what else can I try?
Thanks again.

Looks like you,ll just have to persevere with the steam cleaning, you could go round the edges with a purpose kept toothbrush. It should come clean eventually. Either that or throw the thing out and get a new one . (Wot am I saying):T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

Hi Mollymop,
There's an earlier thread with lots of suggestions that should help so I've added your thread to it.

Can anyone give ideas on cleaning a microwave in a bit of a state
. It's got quite a bit of dried on gunk on the roof. (Obviously only cleaned the bits I could see).
ThanksNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
I put a bowl of boiling water with some lemon juice or vinegar in (lemon smells better
) and heat on high for 4 or 5 mins. The steam loosens most of the dried on gunk so you can wipe it away. Repeat for any persistant stuff.

It's only a game
