How do I get the inside of my microwave clean
Comments

Ditto: I use the bowl of water + lemon (or flash/detol) method.
If it is really really bad I would use fairy liquids power spray and leave for 10mins+ then use the method above to clean up. Otherwise get those gloves on and use that old fashioned proper oven cleaner!!!

Bicarb in water here. Heat up 'til steaming. Leave with door shut for a bit, then wipe out. The bicarb kills the pongs.0

I would agree with the wipes, my daughter frazzled croisants in the microwave one day and the burn marks were everywhere but the wipes well, just wiped it away0 -

Hi, I cut a lemon in half place cut side up in a bowl of water and nuke for 3 minutes on a medium heat then wipe down the inside with a damp cloth. Easy peasy really. If you don't have a lemon an orange works just as well.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

Even just a bowl of warm water on high for 30 secs loosens the gunky bits in mine, so that it only needs a quick wipe with a clean cloth. It depends how much "splatter" you've got!0

Agreed with the above. Lemon is a natural degreaser - that's why a lot of products are 'lemon' scented.
Good luck - messy job!

I find if you use half an orange, you get the same effect except the house smells gorgeous afterwards.0

I'm very lazy and try to prevent it from getting dirty, so I put a piece of kitchen paper towel over the top of food. Prevents splatter - even with roast chicken.
Microwave usually only needs a light wipe down with microfibre cloth once a week.... and I cook everything in there!

If its really gunky I boil a little water in there then spray with dilute stardrops & wipe - super shiny !I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I KnowSupermarket Rebel No 19:T0
