How do I get the inside of my microwave clean

something blew up in the micro last week and I didnt get round to cleaning it till last night :-[ :-[

no lemons in so I used a bowl of brown vinegar on high let it steam for a few mins
then wiped out the mike with a cloth dipped in the vinegar. it came up spotless and smells of Nothing now.

    i've done it with just hot water and 1 tbs bicarb in it, wap it on high for 5 mins, wipe clean. works well too.

    Just done this. Microwave was filthy especially the top. I must say I was very impressed with how easy this made it to clean. :D

    So that's why it didn't work. Didn't do it for long enough.
    Thought it was cos microwave mega dirty :-[.Never mind will try again next time.
