How do I get the inside of my microwave clean

For oven racks - courtesy of Kim and Aggie:
Put a large towel in the bottom of your bath (to prevent scratching the bath).
Add *Biological Soap Powder dissolved in warm water - no more than 40degC or the enzymes won't work properly. (*must be Biological)
Put the oven racks into this mixture and leave for as long as possible.
If they're really, really bad you may need to work at them with a brillo pad.
Rinse thoroughly and go find your sunglasses
.
Make sure you wear rubber gloves when dissolving the soap powder mixture and rinse hands thoroughly afterwards.
Also works for yukky grill pans and roasting tins - from experience

hello all, I want to give the microwave oven a deep clean. I read as a handy tip, paste of bicarbonate of soda is good to use to remove those food stains from the white interiors.
Has anyone used bicarbonate of soda, and do the supermarkets/pound shop places sell it?Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

Google your area for a Chinese Supermaket.
I bought a 3kg bag last week for £3.60, the small tubs in the supermarket are 83p for 200g.
So it would cost you £12.45 in Tesco etc for 3kg!
