advice please. ive dug out a very old crochet pattern, and the wool it says to use is 'quick knit'. is this is any way close to double knit?? can i use double knit safely and it wont turn out like a blanket???0

I am not sure what 'quick knit' refers to (though the name suggests it might be thick). Is there anything on the ball band that suggests what needle/hook size to use ?Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

I think it would basically be two balls 'stuck together', so knit first, reduce as if to finish, but then increase again and repeat ?Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Someone has actually written out a pattern in the facebook link. You don't have to belong to facebook to view it. Uses circs or dpns. Sounds like an ideal project for a sock knitter to me!0
