keepcalmanddrinktea wrote: »Good morning,
This is my first post on this thread but i was looking for some advice.
I have found a pattern for a blanket done in seed stitch with super chunky yarn. I have about 10 100g balls of chunky yarn which i want to double up for this pattern but what size needle would i use?
Chunky calls for 10mm, so would i go up to 12mm?
Hope someone can help :-)
You really need to do a tension square I think, 12mm would be a good starting point I think though.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

Brilliant!!!
Love all the characters, must have taken quite a while. It looks like it is firmly attached to the railing...didn't anyone notice someone sewing it on??
Oh, pennib and Orkney, looks like I am heading up your way next month. :j:j I might even be helping out with a knitting workshop on Orkney!!

Hi, I'm not a knitter but my husband is. I just thought I'd pop on here to ask if anyone is going to Stitch and Craft next week? My husband knitted our Morris Minor for their knitted village, but due to us having a 7 week old baby we won't get there to see the village. If anyone is going we'd love to have a photo of the village and the car in it, as we thought we might put an article about it in the Morris Minor club magazine.0
