    Just found this

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Knitting-Rosebud-outfits-permission-1953-1959/dp/0948254084

Seems all the rosebud doll patterns were published as a book!
  • Thanks Charlie's mum, just looked on internet for crochet scalloped edge and doesn't look too hard, i can do basic crochet and my friend's mum is an expert so will ask her for a tutorial!

Now to see if I got any wool left.

Full of good intentions to crack on with the housework this morning - guess what I did instead? Now off to do some gardening. :)

Is anyone here a crochetter? I've been given a baby blanket by my new baby's great grandma and I'd really like to try and do it only I can't quite get it. I asked her how she did it and I've got the jist but she lives far away. If I took a pic of it and explained how she did it would anyone be able to tell me how I'm going wrong with mine please? (Sorry I know this is a knitting thread!)

  • Good morning,
This is my first post on this thread but i was looking for some advice.

I have found a pattern for a blanket done in seed stitch with super chunky yarn. I have about 10 100g balls of chunky yarn which i want to double up for this pattern but what size needle would i use?

Chunky calls for 10mm, so would i go up to 12mm?

    Hope someone can help :-)
