Having posted on here the other day about unfinished projects etc, decided to totally sort out all my knitting and craft things yesterday and today. First stop B&Q to purchase plastic storage drawers. Everthing is now well sorted out and centralised. Will now spend ages trying to remember where everything is! Found loads of pins, wool needles, stitch holders, tape measures, scissors etc. I have now made up 'travel' packs with essentials in each one which can be taken anywhere I go with my knitting. I had several zipped make-up bags which I had bought ages ago from Semichem at £1 each which have made the perfect storage for them. I am too ashamed to say how many sets of knitting needles I have! Even colour coded all my wool and it is all safely stored in the loft in huge plastic boxes I previously bought from Hobbycraft.

It certainly did pennib. The other plus side was that the rest of the study got a really good declutter/clean and the local charity shop benefitted too!

Clearing out my craft room is something I've been meaning to do/putting off for months! At the moment hubs is redecorating and all the cupboards are covered over to keep clean (he's been painting the ceiling - never a clean job). As soon as he's done I must, must , must get in there and sort things. Just need to keep the motivation going till then.

    Hi all:j

Some great projects getting finished - been too busy to do much and am waiting for my sets of KnitPros to arrive - they are on their way:D And today hopefully I am going to a wool + craft barn:eek::eek::eek: OMG I'll have to sit on my hands:rotfl:Maybe I'll even get some wool for the patterns I actually have LOL not sure if I can post a linky, but it has a web presence at Blacksheepwools:T

So what did you buy? I love Black Sheep Wools (and have linked to them at least a dozen times on this thread). They have some of the best bargains and, even in the rugby scrum that is the Knit & Stitch Show, always have the time and patience to answer questions.

Something for everyone else: I got the Lidl email-newsletter yesterday. They'll have knitting yarns in again next week: sock yarn, DK cotton/rayon blend and DK 100% cotton. At least one bag of their sock yarn is on my shopping list - it is really good value and has some good reviews on Ravelry (note: it's under a different name and took me a while to track down). I'm eyeing up the Cotton 75% Rayon 25% DK blend they'll be selling and trying to work out how much I'll need for a top or two (it's the colours really that are calling to me). I really do have to stick to the £60 budget I've set myself for the year, so can't go mad.

My sets of Knitpros - used gift money from outlaws!! - arrived yesterday, am eager to get started with those.
