I finally managed to take some photos of some of the things I made for Christmas. Our camera was playing up and so I didn't get the chance to photograph things that went out in the post.

I knitted a fairy for our tree (decided to make her a punk fairy and not too fluffy).

I made a jumper and a hat as presents for my husband.

hat (this picture was taken when we had been out and got very wet and so the hat looks a bit mishapen as it is soggy when the photo was taken)

I am currently knitting some bright socks for me - just finished the one so far.

I love the skulls on the hat. What is the name of the pattern, please? I know a few people who'd love to knit it.

(The jumper is lovely too but the hat just blew me away.)

The hat is named 'we call them pirates' and the good thing is that the pattern is free - just google it. The pattern is made from 4 repeats in the round, but OH has a big head and so I did 5 repeats using double knitting wool and it fits perfectly.

Wow, well done Orkney...looks really lovely!

Hope you have survived all the "breezes" up with you and had a good Christmas and New Year. One of my cousins won the Christmas Ba'....really pleased for him. The last member of our family to win it, was my grandfather...in 1935!!!

Still not started any socks from the book yet, wanting to finish DS2's socks first, at size 12s, thay take a time to finish...hope I have enough wool (I have another ball of the same colour, just in case! :D).

Might even get some knitting done today, you never know..need to get the decorations down first though, will get DS2 to help...he is 6'2", so doesn't need to stretch like I have to! :rotfl:
