  • Hi, thank you so much for your help with leg warmers re type of wool and number of stitches. Can I just ask would that size fit a 9 year old (I forgot to mention her age in my original query.) Oh another question, how much wool would I need for a pair? Thanks again and thanks also to the others who replied,

    Had three attempts at starting this. Figured out why it didn't look right. Instructions for the Foundation Row 2 should read : K4, P6, K2, P1, K2[ K2, P6, K4, P6, K4, P3] K2, P1, K2, P6, K4

    Hope that helps.

Can anyone recommend a nice scarf pattern for a 10 year old girl and two boys aged 6 and 3 please? Guess what they're getting for their Christmas presents!;)

I found this on Ravelry (but it's crohet, and you have to buy the pattern), but the design has given me an idea for something similar for my nephew.

See you in the MSE group over there then! (I'm Rateofknots on Rav).
Be warned you might find yourself spending just a little bit too much time on Rav now you've joined. Ask me how I know!
