Has anyone got a pattern for some pretty fingerless gloves done on 2 needles possibly chunky. I want to make the neckwarmers into sets with gloves for presents.

Do you mean wristwarmers, or short finger gloves?

    I did these

Have a pattern if that's any good?

I am still struggling with Wrap & Turn in rib :(
Have practiced on a swatch, and have no problem with a K or P row.
BUT - it looks wrong in rib.
Can anyone explain in simple terms, how to wrap and turn when
    A. I have just done a K and the next stitch is P
    B. I have just done a P and the next stitch is K

Just to say thanks for your help with the patterns and needles. As suggested, I took them to Age Concern and was greeted with open arms.

No Problem - I already had the pics.

I have several patterns, so I'll send them all. Can you PM me your email address?

Maganan - check the washing instructions on the ball band. Perhaps they were washed on an incorrect setting. I tend to wash all knitting garments inside things. Socks go inside bought socks and large items inside pillow cases, stops any friction in the washing and therefroe prevents felting and bobbling.

Thanks I hadn't thought of that I just shoved it all in, trying not to touch it:o It was the correct temp though 40degrees

Thanks again I'll remember with the next ones

I am doing two at a time socks just now, from the one big ball of striping wool, I am taking one sock from the centre and one from the outside (so they are fraternal twins) and the one from the inside behaves a lot better!

Ooh I'm impressed - I would just end up with a massive knot if I tried that  Lovely slippers too

Apollonia Thanks for the Lidl's link - guess where I'm off to tomorrow :)

Still knitting my first pair of sock - will post pics when I'm finished :)

 Well done you. Another notch on the needles!
I have done short rows before in a Sirdar gilet pattern, but it didn't say anything about wrapping, so I didn't. Which is why I couldn't help, sorry. Earmarked your info for next time.
