    Bella...sorry to upset you!

Have been getting those emails from Knitting daily recently, need to sit down and work out what I want to knit from the patterns.

Rosieben...can you post the pattern for slippers please, downloaded some a while ago but can't find them in the mayhem that is this house at present!

Have to get cracking on with knitting, new baby girl born yesterday and her mother thought that she would be a boy....

    Good knitting all,

Marie I have so many s;lpper patters its probably easier if I put them all in a zip file or a word file and upload to 4shared or somewhere. I'll be back shortly :)

  • What a coincidence I found this thread!! I used to knit when I was a little girl, and being pregnant is making me get terrible nesting urges, heh. Had a terrible urge today to take up the needles but don't have any supplies, and I'm not braving the pre christmas rush! Anyone have any sites they can recommend?

    All help appreciated :)

how about a blanket knitted in squares - you could do colour schemed or random colours, and use differnt stitches in the squares? take a look at post no 367 on page 10 ;)

  • Marie, Wasn't really upset. Just learned at an early age to jump to attention at the voice of authority.

Anyway I have decided tonight that sitting up late (very late) knitting is perhaps not such a good idea after all. The back of the baby jacket I completed at 1.00a.m. had a mistake on row one therefore is much bigger than it should be. That'll teach me to get my beauty sleep in future and concentrate better when wide away.

    Bella.

I would recomend starting with a scarf. There are some lovely posh wools available, they knit up lovely and can be done using just plain knitting.
    Good Luck
