  • Oh my I DO NOT need to know of any more places to buy pretty wool! I have enough to keep me going for months...possibly years!

    I finished this a little while ago as part of a "swap" I did on a knitting forum I frequent

    It's a neckwarmer knit in aran yarn, the pattern was free on Ravelry (called Shadow Blue) and it was a quick and easy knit and only used about 100g of aran so I think it would make a good quick Christmas gift

    I have now finished the back on a cardigan I've been knitting, I'll be glad to be done with it to be honest. I started it way back in late Jan/early Feb and just kept getting distracted by more interesting projects (usually sock shaped ones!) but I am now determined to finish it so I can wear it this winter. It's a pattern from a knitting magazine using Patons Pompero which I got for a bargain price from Kemps. I just have to knit the fronts then sew it up.

    Oh dear, that's my afternoon accounted for !

    It's funny, I'm usually a cross stitch girl but suddenly I feel the urge to knit bonnets and bootees (no I'm not broody, I'm 55 !)

    Evening ladies :hello:

    I'm after a bit of advice.:o

    I want to knit my girls some wrist warmers and leg warmers but all the patterns I can find (and I really think I've looked everywhere) are for knitting in the round which I can't do. :o:o:o
    Does anyone know of a pattern for these for two needles? I have made up a pattern for cafetiere cosies before which worked well but I don't want to risk messing up something that people will actually have to wear. :D

    Thanks in advance. x

    Can't help with the leg warmers, but maybe these will do? The instructions for 2 needles are at the bottom :D

    Yay Churchie! :T:j:beer::A

    How'd you do that? They're perfect. :j I'm thinking the leg warmers will just have to be a sew up the side job. :o
    Thank you so much for not calling me an eejit for not being able to knit in the round. (like what my sister said). :cool::D:rotfl:
