Socks, always socks, everyone should be knitting socks! They should be socks for you as well ASC meeting the possible ideas of socks or something for yourself :D

I've finally started on DH's second sock (the first one was knit back in May!) and have almost finished the ribbing, I'm hoping to get it done quickly as it's just plain stockinette but the boredom may just make my head explode!

Hmm, are you sure you don't want to come off the fence and be a bit more positive? :rotfl:

This is a bit cheeky, but do you have a favourite sock pattern? I went through ravelry last night but there's so much choice and you never know which ones are going to knit up nicely.

We`ve been clearing out our attic and i found a knitting pattern that i used to love doing when my kids were little, so the pattern is about 25yrs old. Anyway, i bought some chunky wool from a charity shop and knit it up again , so its cost about £2.50 for the wool and will prob cost as much again for the buttons ! lol, but i`ll look in the charity shop first !

Begorrah, will have to knit them in green with shamrock decorations! :D

They're really cute and cosy looking - I think I might try them (after all the other things I have lined up).

Nuttywoman (I love your name) that's such a cute little cardi.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far! :)
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

My grand daughter is knitting them, they look a lot neater on your feet than they do here.
