It's the Ravelry Knit Camp week at Stirling University Csarina. Loads of people coming from all over to stay for a week in the halls of residence, and then tomorrow and sat is the Marketplace. Lots of stalls from all over, quite a few americans and loads of english vendors. My friend lives in Forfar and is picking me up at Stirling station for a big day oot0

OOh i like those slippers, they look alot easier than other patterns Ive seen, I could make them manly for OH!
Well I really did mean to start my christmas knitting and I decided to start on the checkers set, but somehow I managed to start knitting a bag for myself instead..over half way through now. Its the drops cabled bag on Ravelry which I have been admiring for months.
I was determined not to start it over summer as it looks quite wintery to me but as we only seem to have had two weeks of nice weather this year, it seemed appropriate. Hoping to finish it by the end of next week so I can take it away with me:TMay Grocery Challenge -£216/4000 -
Has anyone tried King Cole Riot? If so, is it as good as it looks?
It's featured in this months Simply Knitting and looks very much like Noro (don't supposed it will feel as lush though!) but it's only £3 for a 100g ball. There appears to be a nice range of colours but unfortunately there is nowhere near me that sells it so I can't look before I order.Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
OOOHHH! I have just found this thread. I'm an avid knitter and I've just started a blog.
I'm currently knitting a cable hat and scarf in Rico Organic. It's really nice wool. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.0
