I know I'm sorry, I just feel that I haven't bought any wool for a while and need a fix. The only thing is that I can't stand to wear items with mohair or the same type of feeling as mohair so just had to ask so I do apologise if I've made you spend money unnecessarily :o

Also, I'm sure there were more pot lucks there when I looked yesterday or is that wishful thinking ;-)

I really do have to apologise now as I have had a closer look at the yarns and searched them on the internet and they all have either furry bits or mohair bits coming off the wool so I have decided I won't be buying anything this time round so apologies.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010

I still think this ( http://www.kempswoolshop.com/wool_specials.aspx ) is the best wool shop on the web. Their postage used to be very expensive but they seem to have improved it now.

The clearance section is out of this world - I just bought 6 balls of Sirdar Blur (normally £4.50 each), 4 of Patons Misty (normally £3.69 each) and 4 of Regia Design Line sock wool (that's the Kaffe Fassett one normally £3.49 each) for a grand total of under £15 including postage. Pretty good I think!
Oh dear, here we go again.

I know! I LOVE that shop (my Maestro card doesn't though)! I'm currently knitting a jumper that has cost me £6.70 for materials - I couldn't buy it it the shops for that!

lynseydee I'm trying to resist. I have decided I'm not buying anymore wool until I've finished with what I've got just now. (we'll see how long that lasts )

jennyjelly NOOOO another wool shop!! What are you going to make with all your new purchases?

LizD How's your pattern coming on?

Yay! I've just started my last glove. Can't wait to get it finished and start my next project

re Readicut potluck packs........I hope you get the wool you`ve asked for - fingers crossed.
The last time this offer was on, several people were disappointed as they landed up getting stuff which was nothing like they`d ordered, but maybe if your order was in quickly you`ll be lucky.

I`ve ordered stuff from Kemps a few times and always been pleased with the quality and speedy delivery.

I gave up on the lace one for the time being! That said, there's a Stitch'N'B**** group just starting up near us so I think I'll go along and see if someone there can advise me - I know as soon as I actually see someone do the stitches it will make sense!
