I keep rubbing my buddhas belly, but all i seem to be doing is spending money (off to centerparcs and just booked for "we will rock you") and not getting it in!!!!

still CP's and the show will be "good" with all the enjoyment it will bring!!!
  • I'm about to give up a well paid job to train towards something different on a really low wage. I'm nervous about living on lots less money so I'm prepared to give anything a go. I read this thread a few weeks ago and thought I'd give it a go. I finally pinched a leaf off a money plant at work on friday with the intention of taking it home but I forgot it. It was left in the money corner of my office (because that's where I sit).

This weekend I found an Asda gift card worth £13 that I don't even remember getting and today I've been given a £250 bonus at work :j I haven't had a bonus for over 2 years so it's not a regular occurance.
I'm not sure if it's down to the money plant or not but I'm certainly going to make sure I plant it and put it in the money corner at home.
Thanks for starting this fantastic thread. :T

i brought my money plant up from my mums the other day and have put it in my wealth corner. Yesterday i tied a red ribbon round the pot and buried some chinese coins i had in the soil.

This morning i got an email back from Currys over the installation of my cooker.. i was charged £37.99 to install it.. but when they arrived my electrics were wrongly done so they couldnt do it.. email said i will be fully refunded.. now you might not think its a big thing cos now i have to pay someone else to do it.. BUT i found out after i had already paid that my new boyfriends uncle is Corgi registered electrian and gas fitter and so now he will probably fit it for me! Doubt he will charge me £37.99 too - boyfriend said he might even do it for free! :)

So i love my money tree!

This is the plant, it's called either a Jade plant /tree or Money plant/ tree

If a leaf ever falls off it I'll give it a good home.;)

My buddah is looking kind of lonely sitting in what I think is my wealth corner. I moved him and I will admit that I am starting to find more money in the street (but that could just be because the kids are back at school and don't seem to want 1ps :D ). MInd you, DD rubbed his belly this morning and then proceeded to find 10p worth of change on the way to my nans as well as a pen from the Bookies, most profitable walk for a long while! :rotfl:

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
