sorry I agree, I wouldn't have one, or cactus, in my house, as lovely as they are
  • Oh no, but it's lovely! Are you sure there's nowhere 'safe' to put it?
  • sorry no, I have a list of plants recomended by a NASA study for eliminating toxins and negating the effects of EMF (electromagnetic fields) will post tomorrow, Peace Lily is one
  • That would be great! I seriously need to do something to create a bit of peace and harmony in our house at the moment.
  • Whilst on the subject of spikey plants, I have a few parlour palms and aspidistras. Although they aren't stiff and spikey like an Aloe Vera they are pointed but softly curved, is this a problem too?
  • I will be watching this thread with interest (only just had chance to have a proper look at it!) as I plan to use a lot of feng shui techniques in my new home when we move :)

I have just planted a pound coin in the soil of my money plant, tied a red ribbon around it and taken it inside the house as the weather is getting colder.

It is now in the only place in my kitchen that will fit as it is HUGE!

  • I put a pound coin in the soil of my money plant too, but I didn't have a red ribbon.

My money plant is tiny :(
