Its all so variable isn't it? I want to stay on that plan with an N95 and they refuse. The 1100 for £20 is the same as a new customer so I'd go Quidco and RAF if that's what you want. Deals are always better in the last day of service.0

If I go through Quidco and RAF (what is it?) then won't I lose my number?0 -
Yes you will lose your current number if you take out a brand new deal from them via quidco.

I'm currently on Direct Talker 1000, cost £35 per month. Contract up in September, I asked for SE C902 + 500 minutes told them I didn't want text messages but was told that 100 text would be included even though I wouldn't use them..... The best offer was £25 per month for that deal which is hardly startling. I told them that if I go on line and order the SE C902 and add Mix&Match 500 (£18 p/m) to the £7 p/m cost of the phone I will get 500 minutes + 300 (3 to 3 minutes) + 70 video calling minutes for £25 p/m also receive cash for RAF (didn't mention Quidco to them) however all that they kept saying was "you wont be able to keep your phone number".
I don't know where they came up with the price plan of 500 minutes plus 100 texts, I cant see it on line, all the plans seem to be mix and match and not specifically minutes + texts ?
I wonder what I will be offered when I ask for my PAC code next month when I contact them with 30 days notice of termination?
So far it looks like starting a fresh as a new customer is the best deal for me personally.0 -

I'm paying £15 for 500 mins only. So for £25 it's simply not worth it!0 -

9 months at £15 + 3 months at £30 = £225 less £149.23 credit =£75.77 over the term averaging £6.32 a month.
This is for 500 xnet minutes and 100 texts per month
Has anybody been offered anything better from 3 ?
I was offered the same but for £5pm so you need to haggle more.0 -
My contract is up in the first week of August, and I've been haggling with 3 for the last week.
The contract that I'm currently on is 300 mins, 150 texts with the picture msgs, downloads etc. I currently have a £20 loyalty diso!!!! so i get it for only £5 a month. However the problem is that I always run over on minutes and texts, so it doesnt end up being that cheap for me.
They have offered to carry on my deal and give me the Nokia N95 as a free upgrade, which is a really good phone. However if I was to change price-plan's then I would lose my loyalty bonus. The best I can get them to do is the mix plan 1100 for £20 a month. The best phone I can get is the Nokia 6500 slider (they wont give me the N95 8GB).
Do you reckon I should go for the £20 deal or should I hold out closer to the end of my contract for a better deal? Do they have month end tartgets which could mean a better deal?
ask in your 30 day notice period. anyway ive seen n95 8gig for £15pm elsewhere. 3 are just not competitive atm, and their indian CS !!!!es me off.0 -
btw if offered n95 id decline, its obsolete. n95 8gig has bigger screen.0

The thing is I am effectivley in my last 30 days. My contract is due to expire on 6th August, but I havent actually given notice that I'm leaving.
Can I give notice and then cancel it?0
