Dammit, just managed to secure a £27 a month tarrif and they drop it to £22
Three are such a pain in the @rse0 -
We are worrying to much about being PC. If it was the Glasgow office being obstructive, pedantic or just plain unhelpful, I would soon say something but because its an Asian person I watch just what I say.
To me there is nothing more frustrating when you have to say, 'sorry, can you repeat' or 'pardon' half a dozen times. And then to be told 'just putting you on hold'
Apart from that, saying 'hey you plonker! talk sense' is stress relieving!Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
They aint called me for a week or so now to try to get me to upgrade. I am going to hold out for a cheap N95 deal or I will stick to my £5 a month deal from last year. I have already bought a N95 off ebay for £130 but if they will give me one cheap I will just reebay the one I bought.0

I've been with 3 for about 4 years and every year i managed to secure really good deals.
Rung to find when my 12 months is up (next week) and as usual the guy offered me his 'best' deal as i'm one of their best and loyal customers out there LOL
The deal was a Sony Z750i (which looks crap), 300 mins and oh a free mem stick. All for only £12 per month.
Went to their website - same offer for £15 plus i can Quidco and refer a friend...
Needless to say i told him to keep his 'best offer' and i'll be ring up next week to give me 30 day notice.0 -
I have been called 7 times in the last week as I am due an upgrade, I am only ever offered the same as their website.
No loyalty bonus just a very rude asian woman that tells me I must upgrade as I got a discount last year!
Told her I will give my 30 days notice due to her attitude!0 -
Well I've only got 11 days until my PAC code expires and they haven't rang me once...0

My present contract still has 2 months to run and I got a call last week offering me a nokia 6500 slide 900 mix and match units, 2300 3 to 3 minutes for £18 a month. I turned it down as I would like a SE K850i but he wouldn't budge.0

well finally heard from the Glasgow office, only after I wrote to the CEO's office,to apologize for sending me further bills after my months notice. I told her I was very sorry to be leaving 3 but felt the company could not careless about me or my business, told her I had got my two phones from vodafone with a better deal than they were offering me with retentions and that was without quidco!!
But then my old 3 phone comes up with 'inactive usim'
I thought in my ignorance that asking for your phone to go PAYG it would carry on with the same sim and of course same number and I would have to buy top ups.
So if anyone out there has a spare 3 sim card or knows how to unlock a u890 be grateful:beer:Be ALERT - The world needs more LERTS0 -
Last year i got for £25/month.... £180 credit to spend as I like. That equates to 800 anytime/network mins + a few hundred texts I think, and a free Nokia N95 just as they came out.
You just need to keep nagging them0 -
:jI rang today to find out when my current contract runs out (got 2 the same which were taken last year) and they told me i could renew anytime. I currently have VTT500 which should be £30 per month but costs me £5. Last year they allowed me to renew it at £5 but wasnt allowed a phone with it.
When she said i could renew today and have a new free phone too i was shocked to be honest. I got her to confirm etc. They must be mad but im not complaining. So i got a 12 month contract for £5 a month and a Nokia 6500. Works out at £60 for the year. The phones worth more than that and also ive got all my texts, minutes, downloads, etc each month. So im very happy.
Especially as my current N80 as been playing me up. I asked what they would offer the N95 at and if i wanted that with the current £5 month contract i could buy it for £85 for the silver one or £140 for the 8gb black one. I am tempted and have been in the phone shop today and asked their opinion and they said they would rather the 6500. So think i will keep my £85 and stick to the free 6500.0
