just called three, they offered me:

    750 mins
    150 texts
    50mms
    50 video calls
    £5.00 downloads

    with n95 8gb for £30 a month. I refused & said I was gng w/O2 due to their discount on B/Band.

    I've been w/Three for 3yrs.

Gonna wait to see what they come up with.

I didn't ask for a PAC code, do u think I need to?

Also can I still go thru quidco?

Hello. Our existing contracts end 7th July I have organised an upgrade as offered by three last night a new contract/upgrade for my wife. And myself. It is the following .Mix and Match 300. 300 minutes/texts plus 300 3 to 3 minutes@ £15 per month. Both contracts to have the Sony Ericsson K660i phone. And to keep our existing numbers!!!!

When investigating the upgrade situation I was informed that the K660i was not available normally but as a "special customer" we would be given them free. I notice in the "3" Buyers guide that this is in fact untrue and is available to all. It would appear that my wife and I are not getting any thing advantageous for being existing customers. In fact better offers are available to new customers. Also for nearly a year their billing dept mucked up our account by trying to charge double!

Any comments/info appreciated also proper contact details for the big cheese of three not CS.
    Thank you

You've not gained anything with the above deal, I would ring back and insist on M&M 1100 for £15 a month as an existing customer. They will probably claim that they can't offer you that but I would then ask for a PAC number and wait for 3 to call you back. Their tactics are to get people like yourself to accept a pretty poor deal. I've just checked on their website and the same deal is available to new customers too. I've been with 3 for several years and can't fault the network but they also messed me around and luckily I got out of contract after upgrading.

You will get the best deal if you request your PAC, you will then receive a call from 'customer options' who are a specific department. If you don't request a PAC for both phones you won't get the best deal! Also don't just settle for a basic handset, if you don't ask you don't get, this is the game you have to play with 3. Also don't just settle for the first option they offer you. Believe me they will call you everyday until you have agreed to stay with them. It may seem like a really drawn out process but it's worth it in the end.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

    Did you call them?

I have only called twice now, and both times got rubbish offers. I have just under 2 months to go until my 18 months contract is up. I don't want to get tied down for another 18 months!!

    Your deal sounds great!!

They told me I'd have to stay on my current tariff (£26.25 a month) for 18 months, and still I would have to pay extra for N95 8GB.

I've been with them for 5 years..........

Don't you get 2000 3 to 3 mins each when you take out 2 contracts at the same time. Looks like you have done worse by "upgrading" than if you took out a new contract. Perhaps you were a bit premature, if your contract does not finish until July, you would have gotten a better deal if you had waited until a few days before your contract ended before settling on a deal that anyone could have had. Always check what the existing offers are in store and online before you go into your negotiation for an upgrade.

I spoke with the manager of the Princes Street Edinburgh Store he agrees with you and advised a quick severe moan at Three. This I have done. All will be revealed.

Well I have given in, the offers I had were rubbish, so I ordered a phone then thought about it and in a fit of pique cancelled it. I had no phone calls from the British team only the Asian options team [several] and I could get nothing so I am now with Vodafone!

I'm currently on talk and text 1400 which has just reverted back to £30 after being £15.
Called up Three and think I must've got the Asian operators. Anyway I went straight in for cancellations and all they could offer me was the same plan for £20, no mention of a phone and then some other really poor deal.

I told him I didn't want another phone anyway and mentioned the £5 a month deal but he said it wasn't possible.

I didn't even bother taking the pac code, just said disconnect me.

Hope they call back and offer me something good
