My wife and I took out our contracts with Three in Jan 2007. We did it within ten minutes of each other. Trials and tribulations what followed over the months another story. We have, as already posted both taken out upgrades tariff due to start 9th july old one until then. It would appear that the one we have is the only one available and we are not entitled to the extra 1000 3to 3 minutes. I enquired in the store where we took out the original contracts "the manager said " bit like pantomime time" oh yes you are. 3 said oh no your not!
They also seem to think at the Executive office most of the info on this site is wrong!
Any comments please.0 -
Try the Press Office- media@three.co.uk
The executive office only acts as a forwarder to India, whereas the Press Office seems to get to someone in the UK with authority.

Here are the tc that I found on 3 website (on the checkout page):
2000 3-to-3 minutes free - Terms & Conditions
Offer available direct from 3 when either (1) two new approved customers subscribe at the same time to a Mix&Match price plan on an 18 month minimum term contract; or, (2) where the same customer subscribes at the same time to two new Mix&Match price plans on an 18 month minimum term contract; or, (3) when a new approved customer subscribes to a Mobile Broadband contract and subsequently subscribes to a Mix&Match price plan on an 18 month contract.0 -
So do you think we are entitled? The first contract wasn't mix and match because they didn't exist 18 mnyths ago. The second was upgraded to the same CS rep at the same time same conversation.0

Just spoke with the Exec office NO GO won't have it. Also it appers that Three don't have a 14day cooling off period for deciding otherwise. Not nice people.0

Were you speaking to someone from Britian (Should be a gentle Northern/ Scottish accent) or Pakistan?
If, as I suspect it was Pakistan, all they are is parrots
You need to get hold of someone in the UK, & as I stated should try the Press Office, not the Executive Office (Threats to take the story to the Sun may help here, use your judgement) as that will actually get you someone in the UK with real power.

Sorry, not stricly the right thread but closest I can think. Is there a section of 3 or a bit called something else that work for 3? I have had at least 2 calls now from this part (something connections can't remember) they say when questioned they are part of 3 but when i called 3(last one knew how much i paid but it was old so i was suspicious) they said no it was not them. Asked this one when she called and was told they do the contracts for 3 and when you have handset problems it is them you go through to, though she had no idea when my contract was up (i said far later than it is just to check) surely if this is part of 3 they would have all the info? So just wondered if anyone with more dealings with 3 could confirm this outfit are at it as i am just curious now.0

s12s, that sounds like a third party trying on the off chance to get your business. I always question them too when three ring up or people claiming to be from three. They should ask you for your password. If in doubt tell them you'll call them back.0

Another day, the second retentions call
Contract still ending in August, got a slightly better deal again, but still nothing like the total that'll get me to stay.
As previously £30p/m, 500mins/ 400txt (Not MnM), but could do me the N95 8gb as opposed to a refurb original. Tried to get free internet addon out of them, but no-go as of yet.
I'm aiming for the N95 8gb on £20p/m, 500mins & web addon, so I'd say that things are looking positive for the next month and a bit.
If not, I'll head to O2; Might get better reception out of them too :rotfl:

After only ringing them on saturday they called me again today.
Usual overseas bunch, asking why I wanted to leave etc, he offered me 75 mins and 600 texts which I said wasn't good enough. He then asked what I would like. So me being me said I want the best deal possible and as cheap as possible, he asked if i'd like the same talk plan that I'm currently on + phone (direct text 1400) I said yes that would be great, however £15 a month still, er no I say, I want a cheaper contract.
At this point he started drivvling on about how they can't do much better and with giving £150 phones away. I hung up, he called back, I ignored
Will see what the rest of the week brings. I'm holding out for £5 a month, not interested in a phone as I've already got an N95.
To all of you that are hodling out for one of those, my advice is go for the 8gb one!0
