  • Hey guys i got offered and accepted a £10 per month deal for 3, with 300 mix and match 300 3to3 calls...

I have just got my first new bill and its 12.73 - that is £10 plus VAT...

(This works out as an extra £50 over the life of the contract)

I am not happy because its not £10 a month at all!! Why should i have been quoted without VAT? has anyone else had this when saying yes to a £10 a month retention deal? Do you think it could be sorted out if i call them??

    Thanks in advance

Well I am dead pleased with the deal i've just been offered, there was 6 days to go until my phone was due to go to PAYG, had a call offereing me 500 mis and 100 texts for 5 a month for life !- as far as I am concerned its a fantastic deal and couldn't say YES quick enough.

if you are all looking for the aggressive retention deals they did last year, then i don't think they do them anymore. with the network rollout they've had and the competative tarrifs they have, they don't need to. don't cut you'[re noses off to spite you['re faces, you won't get as good a deal anywhere else as a NEW customer!!
:p It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

Pardon me if I have missed something but isn't £10 plus VAT £11.75? which would admittedly still work out to £31.50 extra, sorry for being pedantic;)

Hi mate, I too am in the same situation you and have given 30 days cancellation notice. They offered my a 18 month contact and handset for £15 per month, but it is a poor deal. I told them that I have a friend that got a £5 per month deal they asked me for their tel number. Would it be ok for me to give them your tel number, as they said they may match your deal.

    Cheers mate

    Hi msaquib,

    You're right :)

Refer-a-friend and other codes can indeed interfere with Quidco tracking, so we would unfortunately be unable to support enquiries on such transactions if there were problems with them.

    Kind regards,
